Getting here is relatively straight forward with the pub car park accessed straight off the A433. Access to the campsite is not so straight forward, and is via a very tight turn to squeeze between sleepers on the car park, the corner of an outbuilding and a tree with protruding roots out of a bank.
Pitches are hard standing with ehu and TV hookup to each pitch. Fresh water, waste and toilet disposal are in a compound within the site.
There is one combined wc and shower room a short walk away, but you are advised on arrival that if that is engaged you are free to use the pub toilets.
Make no mistake, you will not get peace and quiet here. The adjacent A433 is very noisy, particularity at night. The train will also disturb you as will aircraft taking off and landing at Cotswold airport.
That said we'll be going back as the pub is excellent.

Quiet site no amenities.
Good location for Lechlade, Fairfird, Bibury Cirencester and Cotswolds Water park.
Hughworth a few minutes away with local shops or Asda in Swindon is a 10 min drive.
Would definitely use this site again.

Stayed here whilst visiting friends who recently moved to the area.
Staff very friendly especially whilst following Covid guidelines, food and drink in the pub itself highly recommended.
Rock pegs are most definitely needed for awnings.
Only downside was the pitch we were on suffered from excess underground drainage water but we left before it became too much of a problem.
With easy access and close location to Cirencester and other areas we would definitely recommend staying here whether for an overnight stay or longer whilst exploring the area.

Liked) basic but perfectly clean & functioning facilities (I don't want much from a campsite other than showers, toilets and-obviously-somewhere suitable to pitch my tent and lock my bike up) with a good quality grassed tent area,
Also the location couldn't be easier to find-actually on the main A433 Tetbury to Cirencester road and the fact that it's a pub means you don't have to go anywhere if you fancy a drink!
All of the staff I met were very friendly, very knowledgeable and very helpful.
The fact that it is all bookable online makes everything so simple and easy to organise.
Disliked) At £20 a night-for basic facilities-it is a bit pricey, though in deepest leafy rural Gloucestershire with its relatively high average income levels, this is probably not considered expensive-it certainly is when you live in West Yorkshire!

Stayed with a gang of fellow Riley car owners. Thought it was a near-perfect site. The big attraction is the pub; just what you want na Cotswold pub to be. Great food, lovely cask beer, reasonable prices (for the Cotswolds!); friendly helpful and efficient staff.
The pitches have had a lot of money spent on them recently and are well-maintained, easy to access, and all have hookup and TV. The emptying and watering facilities are centrally placed and not too obtrusive. The location is ideal for touring, though we had problems with alcoholic constipation (difficulty with passing pubs). Top tip - AV8 Cafe at Kemble Airport just down the road towards Tetbury, enjoy a coffee and snack while watching a surprising amount of air freight traffic coming and going.
Only reservations - one shower, in the same room as the one toilet made life complicated at times for our tenting buddies. And if you are sensitive to road noise maybe not for you, but we soon got used to it and the charms of the pub and staff more than compensated. Will definitely revisit if possible.

This was our 2nd visit to this site and we love it.
The issue with the driveway getting muddy has been corrected even with the heavy rain.
The pub next door does really good food and the owners are fantastic. This is a great little site.

Pros of this fairly new site are:
Level pitches, EHU for each pitch, Elsan and waste water disposal efficient.
Nice friendly pub which does good food at reasonable price on site.
Good location (2 miles from Cirencester)for exploring the area.
Nowhere close to walk to though
Cons:
Only one combined shower and loo in one room for the whole site, but it was kept clean.
Noise doesn't really bother us as we sleep soundly, but for light sleepers the road noise might be an issue.
Mud! The roadway and pitches were really muddy and slippery. There had been a lot of rain which of course the site owners couldn't help, but if we visited again, it would be in summer.
£20 a night including EHU a bit steep, we have stayed at nicer CS sites for a lot less
