 Booked for a week and bitterly regretted it for several reasons!
Firstly, the beach.
It is dirty, littered with plastic, cigarette waste and dog faeces. It is also a gravel beach and not sandy, this was a disappointment to us. The beach also has a very steep drop off into the sea, with prevents casual paddling and is not well suited to families.
Secondly, the sanitary facilities.
One block is dated but clean(ish) and functional, the other block is in a state of disrepair. Graffiti on walls, broken tiles, always smelly. It was grim tbh.
Thirdly, value for money.
We are a family of four, our 'front row' pitch was 75euros a night in August. Based on the quality of facilities, the price is unacceptably high. There are some wonderful sites at this price point, sadly this site isn't one of them.
The site shop was acceptable and reasonably priced.
The site pool has been recently refurbished, so is quite pleasant.
The site is well situated for the train station, which is just minutes away.
Santa Susanna is a typical resort (if a bit run down). Lots of concrete buildings, bars, discos and second rate eateries.
We wouldn't return at any price, it's just not nice enough to warrant the journey. The website isn't great, this should have been a clue as to the standard of camping.

Camping right on the sea front. Perfect for camper vans tents etc. On site shop, launderette, gymnasium, outdoor swimming pool and kiddies pool and restaurant.
The individual pitches are quite small so best to contact site just in case you need to book a double pitch (as I did).
Very secure site even though its open to the public beach. 24 hr security team and covered by cctv so you can be assured that your tent/camper is being monitored from unwanted attention.
200 yds to main rail link to Barcelona (€16 return fare), No noise from railway as its electrified and last train about 11pm.
Carrefour Supermarket 10 mins away, loads of local shops bars and restaurants on the main strip. Also wooden chalets to rent of various sizes
