Very basic site in lovely location-
One suggestion would be in the winter months to allow campers to arrive earlier if space allows-arriving at 2, setting up, there is literally only time to walk for a short distance before its dark -
I thought it was overpriced at £24 a night
There is a lovely pub in Loxwood which was a good hours walk from the site, along a canal, good family pub, although we didn't have children with us it was noticeable that they were very welcome-
Actually this site is adults only so for us grown ups the beer and cider were top notch

I have to agree with the previous review about out-of-control dogs. The resident terrier (nothing to do with the other campers) invaded our camp and attacked our young dog - also biting me as I tried to chase it away. Although the owner did come back with some plasters to check I was ok, this spoilt our weekend as we couldn’t help but feel uneasy - constantly on guard it case it returned again.
Although there are no facilities, other than water and electric, it is in a beautiful location and could be a very nice site.

Have used this site many times in the past 2 years, it's nice and quiet well kept with nice helpful owners and great walks straight from the site.
I have never seen any dogs roaming free let alone annoying other campers.
I would agree that £18 a night is a little over priced, up until this year it was £15 with hookup which to me was about right.

The site was clean and quiet. However, £18 a night for no facilities I feel is very OVER priced. Can get Caravan and Camping club sites for cheaper than that.
No children allowed but dogs are free to roam and annoy other campers without dogs.
