This site is ideal for visiting Chester 3 mile away, bus service almost outside the camp and mins from the M56 motorway. Alas that’s where it ends.

We stayed in Nov after heavy rain, what a shock the lower numbered pitches ie 1, 2, 3 were flooded you needed Wellington boots and to use the unkept dirty gents toilet, well a canoe would have been handy.

There are two WCS one shower all with badly fitting doors which had to be shoulder charged to close it other wise the bolt would not be inline with hole and then no handle to get out, the pot wash area was open to the elements and the very poor excuse for a elsan disposal point was a joke.

We will not be back.

 Nice clean tidy site.

Easy access.

Road noise from the m53 and other roads absolutely unbearable. I had to sleep in the car as I couldn't sleep through it.

A one night stay in our new to us folding camper. The site is small but perfectly formed. Looked like all pitches have electricity and the hardstanding also had water.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff helpful and friendly.

Toilet blocks were modern and well planned however one of the ladies toilets had a broken toilet seat on arrival and there was not hand soap in the dispenser. By the time we left at 11am the following morning the cubicles and sink were a little messy and neither issue had been addressed. I would assume they are not checked regularly.

Washing up area could do with being under a cover. It is open to the elements.

No facilities for children. It's a more quiet adult site.

If you are a light sleeper you may be effected by road noise and the farm access.

However it is perfectly situated to visit the attractions of the North West including Chester, Cheshire oaks, Chester zoo, North Wales, Wirral and Liverpool.

This is a small site which is close to Chester Zoo, Cheshire Oaks Designer outlet, West Kirby and Chester itself. All which are worth visiting. The people running the site are very helpful and friendly. The problem with this site it is right next to a very noisy and busy main road. You can feel the lorries go past. It’s like being parked in a layby. The toilets were dirty. Only one shower which was effected when someone did some washing up. Only one sink with no hooks or shelf to put your stuff and an illegal electric heater one foot away from the sink and gets sprayed with water. Not a good idea. The site could with a veranda over the doors and especially over the washing up area which is open to the elements. The gents could do with an urinal. And finally, do we really need locks on the door into the gents and ladies?
