A very pleasant, peaceful, quite large site - excellent very large facilities block, kept very clean, with loo paper supplied -
Only down sides are - the pitches are slightly on the smaller side, & quite tightly packed in (no 6m rule between vans as in Blighty) -
Water pressure on the site, including the showers, is low.
On the plus side, the staff in general are very pleasant, and public transport connections are good, with the SNCF railway station just 5 mins walk from site (12 mins journey into Colmar) -
The village / town of Turckheim itself has some charming medieval buildings and is just 10 mins walk away - there are numerous restaurants and a small supermarket. -
As well as Colmar, I would recommend visiting Kayserberg, as I preferred it to Colmar, due to retaining its cobbled largely traffic free streets, whereas Colmar is tarmac roads & very busy with traffic.
Lots of local cycleways and also walks up into the vineyards above the site.
We enjoyed staying for a week, and I would definitely recommend this site and surrounding area.

Nice location with easy access to Colmar by bus or train. Turkheim only 5 minutes on foot. Pleasant village with a selection of restaurants and a decent mini market.
Pitches a fair size and mixture of grass and gravel.
Showers and toilets always clean and cubicals a good size. Push button showers.
Staff polite and English spoken.
Lots of storks around site to add interest.
Colmar a lovely town. Equisheim also worth a visit.

First impressions - pitches smallish and appeared a bit unkempt and, after heatwave, rather tired. But we really warmed to this place. Modern toilet block with plenty of capacity and the site has super-friendly staff. No restaurant but bread can be pre-ordered and the receptionist has beer on tap beside her desk! No traffic noise and the storks were entertaining.
Liked Turckheim a lot, though restaurant choice limited as several closed for annual holidays in early July. We enjoyed accompanying the night watchman who tours the village at 10pm nightly and the “Poche de Colmar” museum about the liberation is well worth a visit.
Biked into Colmar which took about 25 mins beside the railway. Not too busy with traffic and a bit of an incline on the return but not really strenuous. Pretty town but quite quickly round the best bits. After two days we felt we had covered it all. Station is a good springboard though to other destinations, we went to Basel and enjoyed that. Lidl and E Leclerc 15 mins or so away by bike, on Colmar road.
If you are heading to that area, would definitely recommend.

Good quality site on the edge of Colmar at the quaint medieval village of Turkheim. The village itself is a five minute walk and has a selection of bars and restaurants in a pretty setting, in addition a bus service takes thirty minutes to reach Colmar itself.
Pitches are of a good size and were with ACSI 15e with some an extra 2e near a small pond/stream. Facilities are in one large modern block and are of good quality and regularly cleaned. Stork nests surround the site with adult birds walking around within 6` of campers very interesting to watch.
Also interesting was watching the youngsters standing in the nests flapping wings preparing to fly the nest.
Small Casino supermarket in village, Aldi and Eclerc 2` away, the petrol station at the latter is very 'tight' and probably only really suitable for cars.
Cycle routes were displayed at reception and staff were friendly and helpful.

Good quality campsite. Shower and toilet blocks clean and well maintained. Good laundrette. Friendly helpful staff.
Easy walk into a very pretty village with all services including restaurants, bakeries, cash points, a market on a Friday.
We would return to this site if in the area.

From what I'd read, I was expecting a quaint campsite in an ancient village. In reality, it's quite a big, very open site with little shade, accessed from a busy main road in what feels quite an industrial area.
The staff were lovely and helpful but the site itself was a bit of a disappointment. There's one huge sanitary block, kept clean enough but reminds me of a holiday camp ablutions block, or something you might find in the army!
The site is dissected by what's essentially a stream (you have to pay extra for these pitches but I doubt it's worth doing so because it's not very spectacular or scenic).
In short, it wasn't for us. It's available on ACSI in low season so, if you specifically want to be in this area and aren't looking for beauty or ambiance, this might be a reasonable choice. My advice would be to check out Les Trois Chateaux, in Eguisheim, if you don't mind being a bit more remote.
