Backpacking the SDW. This is an excellent Campsite.
Individual Pitches and named facilities are provided for that site.

Absolutely beautiful farm setting, personal cabin with hot shower, sink and toilet, large pitch.
Perfect for Goodwood.
We would definitely stay here again.

At the time of my stay the site was a perfectly peaceful place. The owner, Sue, was very helpful and also allowed me to utilise the freezer for my ice blocks. It is ideal for connecting to the SDW which is only 3/4 mile up the lane.
My only criticism is the toilet/shower/washing up blocks which were clean with soap & towels but they could do with more maintenance.
The toilets and single 'wet room' shower within one toilet were fine with hot water but I think all the sinks should be plumbed into the hot water system as well. Was a small challenge and ok for me in the rustic huts but if it was full, this could be a problem.
I would return to explore the nice area but in a quiet season.

We stayed here in July, what a lovely place, right on the doorstep of the forest, two fishing lakes where there is a small daily charge, deer came down to drink.
There are two fields both with ample clean toilets, cleaned daily with soap, hand towels and hot water, lovely large showers, with bins for rubbish too. Will be going back next year.
You can walk to the local pub through the forest about a 30min walk
