 Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and bikes.
We needed somewhere to stay overnight in this area, and the description in the ACSI book sounded interesting. We found the site easily enough from the description, it is just outside a village crisscrossed by canals and waterways, you cross a canal on the way to the site.
When we arrived, the reception was closed, so we chose a pitch to wait. The pitches are grassy, but many are sloping, so you need to look round carefully to choose. There are dividing hedges and some trees for shade.
The sanitary block is in the middle, mixed sex, nice and clean. Washing up is outside under cover.
It's a short cycle ride to the town, where there are a few shops and a supermarket on the outskirts. The town has a number of canals and waterways passing through it, good for cycling. The town is famous for its canal bridge over the Loire, it's well worth a visit.
We would be happy to use this site again.
