The worst campsite ever. The closed reception area was dirty and run down there were hundreds of caravans crammed in together covered in green algi, with grass and weeds growing around them. We were greet (after I had searched for someone) by a maintenance man who didn't speak any English (a passing fisherman translated), taken to a field where man unlocked the barrier, let us in and padlocked locked barrier behind us.
This was a slither of field across road from main site where you could find showers and washing up areas. Toilet block in the field was the most disgusting toilet I have ever encountered. It had not been cleaned in a very long time if ever. There was feces on every toilet & up the walls in the ladies loos, dead flies on top of the systems, black mold around the sinks. We woke in the early hours to a van parking inches next to us and I mean wing mirrors about six inches apart. We stayed 1 night. It is such a shame this is the only campsite in Piran because Piran is a beautiful place. But if I was going again I would get a hotel. I don't recommend this site and will never go there again. They don't accept ACSI so it cost us for 1 small van, 2 adults, 1 dog & electric €30 how can they justify such a price? The owners should be embarrassed. I wish I could upload the photos I took. It would show how bad it was. Disappointed!

A convenient site 15 minutes walk from the extremely picturesque town of Piran.
The touring pitches with electricity are either hardstanding in what could be described as a car park or a plot of grass both very near the beach.
Initial feelings were very mixed as main facilities were about 100m away at the static caravan part of the site. In addition there were toilets and some water nearer but these were shared with beach users though campers were given a key for when they were locked during the night. The toilets were kept clean.
Needed one of the staff to open the Elsan disposal point which was in the disabled toilet block.
Good wifi available near reception but not at the pitches. There was a small shop on the site and on the beach with a few bars and restaurants.
Soon overcame our reservations about the place and enjoyed our few days there.
As mentioned the town of Piran is beautiful retaining its Venetian character with lots of bars and restaurants.
