 Stopped for one night whilst we had our caravan serviced in Cholet.
A very pleasant, quiet site on the edge of a lake.
The site is managed from a modern block containing a games room, and snack/drinks outlet. The only alcoholic drink is beer (Presion). There is a pleasant terrace overlooking a beach (sand) onto the lake, with a cordoned off area for swimming. There is also a kayak/pedalo hire facility, a large trimmed grass area and a children's climbing/adventure frame of decent proportions, and a walkway round the lake. 2-3 kms.
I'll refrain from covering areas already reported on in the previous review.
The tranquillity of the site will ensure we return next year as this is the best of the campsites we have found in the vicinity of Cholet.

This is a very good site. All pitches hedged and are fully serviced with individual electric, water and drainage (although our drain was slow to clear) Pitches are generous. Plenty shade. If you have a satellite dish you will need to pick a pitch carefully. Chemille - 15minutes walk - is a quiet village with a few shops, cafes and restaurants but not much open at night. Reception is friendly.
Wifi is free and a decent speed. €15 per night with ACSI and 7 nights for price of 6
Toilets and showers well maintained and modern.
No loo seats (normal on French sites) but loo roll supplied.
Children's Club.
Not far (30 mins) to Cholet for a big town to visit and Japanese Gardens nearby. VTT Cycle routes marked from site entrance.
This site is close to our storage facilities so we will definitely return.
