This is a large site with a mixture of tourers tents and statics, it has a very well stocked shop and a small take away situated at the entrance, the toilet and shower facilities are a little dated but kept very clean, the location is in a beautiful part of Ireland with stunning beaches only a short walk away and the small harbour town of Crookhaven is just over a mile up the road with a pub, shop and restaurant as well as a busy little harbour. Mizen Head is only a few miles further and well worth a visit. As with most sites in Ireland Barley Cove is a bit on the expensive side at 30 Euro's per night.
