 We stopped here for 10 nights as part of our summer break.
We arrived at the end of a three day drive from the UK. The site is very easy to find being just a 10 - 15 minute drive from the Autoroute. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly chap who spoke just enough English. The cost per night is good in comparison to other sites in the area.
The site is protected by barriers which require a tag to open. The site is well laid out with good size pitches, all are grass pitches, the grass was a little worn in places. There are four toilet blocks, many of the toilets are the good old fashioned squat type, though there are a good amount of normal toilets available too. There is also an adequate number of showers for the size of the site. There are only two fresh water taps for the whole site; there needs to be more. Electricity is just 6amp, we did trip the electric post a couple of times, which then requires a trip to reception to kindly as them to switch it back on. Once we got used to the low amperage we were ok. There is an on-site bar which was great. They do serve food but we didn't sample any.
The site is mainly used were French visitors, some with seasonal pitches. We were the only Brits there at the time, though this wasn't a problem for us.
The location of the site is excellent. There is beach access to the beautiful Emerald coloured Lac A'aiguebelette. The lake is quite shallow near to the site and the water is warm which makes for excellent swimming.
Boats are available for hire around the lake too, though I'm not sure of the cost.
A5 minute drive from the site takes you into the Lepin le lac village, with a few shops such as a grocers, Patisserie, Bakers and Butchers, as well as a bar. There are also some restaurant nearby too.
In all, a very nice site set in a spectacular area.
