I live close to this site and years ago it was lovely., but I have been told that this site no longer takes caravan's, only static van's so phone to make sure!

This camp is now under new management who now charge £2 per hour for the tennis court and £2 an hour for the table tennis table, equipment included. The management seem to have inherited the previous owners attitued as when I said I thought it was a poor business decision to start to charge for their greatest attractions (see other reviews) I has argued with, threatened to be man handled out of the reception and offered my money back if I wanted to leave. My 13 year old daughter was in tears and our weekend break was ruined.

We were told to pitch on number seven,.after we had almost got the awning up we were told to go to 7 on the paddock here we had a steep incline so I had to put a 4 inch block under the left wheel to try to get even we had a solid wooden fence to the front and rear wire mesh fence to the left .The bins waste disposal toilet block 500 yards up was up a steep hill among static vans two showers in each at a small charge. Dog walking area was at the other side of the camp next to the children’s ball area very healthy.Childrens play area was down a valley out of site next to the outdoor swimming pool (dirty) the commandant was nice lady.

This site is nice if you have no dogs or children we were playing with children from ajoing vans with a very light beach ball we were promptly told no ball games that there was a football area the other end of camp ,It was next to a dog walking area that we had to cross to get to it .Strict is not the word . A lady who was up from us had her mother come as they were loading the cars to go home she was told the mothers car had to go on the visitors carpark ,she explained that they were loading and would not be long but they were still told to move the car .Only one set of toilets a good hike away.
