 Stayed here for the fishing with friends and we all caught very little but the site was great.
Spotless toilets, great cafe doing good food and pleasant staff.
A few good pubs within a mile also doing good food.
I've been here twice and will return again.
Very peaceful at night pleasant views and the chance to catch a big un love it.

We stayed here as I was at an archery competition at Lilleshall national sports centre which is the other side of Newport, Shropshire.
There are 5 pitches which are all hard standing and surrounded by individual pitches. The pitches are not big enough for a full size awning. The pitches are part of the outer car park of the cafe, shop and trout fishing lodge.
There is no barrier on the entrance from the road so everyone driving into the cafe, shop or trout lodge is driving past the pitches.
The turn out of the site is onto a fast narrow road. Saying all that the site is peaceful with a view of the two trout lakes.
The shower, toilet and chemical disposal are at the near corner of the main building which is across the car park - not a problem. The shower/toilet room is good.
The fresh water fill point is under the cafe kitchen window.
The food in the cafe is very good.
