Pleased to report that the CWD situation has now been rectified and is fine.
Still the same otherwise, it must be one of the largest CLs in the country and dogs are allowed to run freely.

A very nice spacious site, but the CWD needs attention, it is a soakaway situated down the field. It's not nice to lift the lid and see other folks' err, debris.
The site is easy to find, but be aware that there is a new road layout at Gaydon, you need to turn right and then left to keep on the B4100, otherwise you will end up at Bishops Itchington. There is a long driveway, past the Radway turn, look out for the row of Lombardy Poplar trees. Access to the site is easy. There are 5 hardstandings, and also several more on well drained grass.
There are good views, but not of the Burton Hills (which are nearby and worth a visit). Do go and look at Burton Dassett church which is wonderful. There are several walks directly from the site. The M40 is close, but only a faint hum can be heard when outside,
There is a Spar shop at the garage in Gaydon, supermakets at Banbury and Leamington both about 10 miles away.
Apart from the CWD, a site to recommend for visiting south Warwickshire. £12 per night which is fine.
