 Beautiful site in the hills above Florence, absolutely perfect for our tent.
It’s hard to come across a site with such spacious, well laid out pitches in Italy.
Probably better suited to tents than campers/caravans due to the accessibility of the pitches. They are all in different levels & some have rather steep access roads. However the pitches themselves are all level & are well shaded by trees.
There is a small restaurant on site that also sells some basic foods and you can freeze ice packs in their kitchen freezer.
Our EHU cable was stolen so they rented one out to us for a small fee.
The toilets/showers are typical Italian standard. No toilet roll, soap or toilet seats. And the geckos wonder around freely. However there was always plenty of hot water.
The washing up facilities were under a Perspex roof to protect from the elements, as was the washing machine & tumble dryer; which were operated by Euros.
There was a pool that opened 8am-8pm, but closed for a period during the day for siesta. It was nice & warm. There was also a small children’s play area.
The site was quaint & family run, and we were made to feel very welcome. Which made us overlook the negative points.
