Nice site set by a lake. Clean facilities. The couple who ran the site were very friendly.
The pitches were surrounded by nice hedges and were a good size.
It's within a very pleasant village with good bakeries.
Nearest supermarket was in Ferte Bernard.
It's a bit of a way from the major chateaux but handy for Le Mans.

Great little Muni scenic site on a lake with a great little cycle path around it. Facilities good with plenty of hot water.
Restaurant and bar just outside site but closed at the time we stayed. Sanitary block old but immaculate.
Convenient for Le Mans. Reception good with a little English spoken, usual bread available to order too.
Reception closed between 12 and 2. This is an ACSI site so at 16 euros, good value.
Would I stay again, yes.

We chose this campsite from the ACSI book as a stopover whilst travelling south. It is situated on the banks of a leisure lake with a gate from the campsite to the lakeside path.
The warden was very friendly, gave us 3 pitches to choose from, all on the lakeside. The pitches were very nice with a view of the lake, but that meant they weren't very private as the many people passing by on the path could look onto your pitch.
The sanitary block was near reception and covered pool, some facilities were separate gender. All nice and clean, the cleaner was there in the morning.
We cycled onto the lake side path, around the lake and into the village, very pleasant and not far.
We enjoyed our stay here and would be happy to stay again.

Stayed at this site while on holiday in my motorhome. One of the cleanest sites I've been on. The husband and wife team running the site were so helpful and friendly and it has a small book swap library and a very nice swimming pool. Bread can be ordered for collection in the morning at a very reasonable price. This site is right next to a lake where I saw children getting fishing lessons. According to the locals there are some big fish. Lovely walk around the lake. Large pitches with water nearby. Very popular With the British restaurant within two minutes walk, do three courses with wine for €12. The food is very French. Will definitely be visiting site again.
