Great little hideaway site.
Really enjoyed staying here, it's quiet and has terrific views.
There's nice walks down or even up the road and a chance to blow out the cob webs after a week at work.
You must like horses and especially Denzil the Donkey, he's gorgeous!
A real treat to stay here with a huge tarmac turning circle for bigger units like ours.
Our granddaughter was made up seeing and talking to the horses and donkey.

What a lovely campsite. We have a 8ft wide twin axle caravan, but the owners were very communicative and ensured we would be able to get there. Access was fine and on arrival the field with 3 hard standings was sloped. As novices, we didn't have any levellers but as caravanners are so friendly, our lovely neighbours lent us some for the weekend.
We pitched on the grass next to the field with horses and a donkey - super friendly and the kids fed them carrots.
Water area was very clean and tidy. 2 bins but unfortunately no recycling so we took that home.
Lots of space for kids to play and sun was shining until about 830pm when it disappeared behind the trees.
Very quiet but with great access to Battle Abbey (reason we were there) and what a great day that was. White Hart pub up the road (1mile ish) with pub garden.
We will definitely return when next in the area.
Thanks to Tracey and Mark

A nice site with hardstandings in a lovely part of the country. It was stressed that we must not go on the grass, fair enough, but the hardstanding areas are not easy to leave as there is a slope to negotiate, we managed it with the mover and mush pushing. Access to the site is good.
£18 per night we thought a little excessive but then we do use a lot of electricity.
Access the site from Lunsford Cross and not from Catsfield where there are firstly many parked cars and then some very narrow stretches of road.
There is a small convenience shop in Catsfield, a fuel station at Ninsfield.
There are plenty of walks around although none actually fro the site, and go to the beach at the eastern end of Bexhill, near Tesco and M&S, there are some lovely rocks. Don't bother with Normans Bay.
All the reviews on the CAMC website are positively glowing and all mention great rubbish disposal, but we could only see one bin, was expecting good recycling, plus we did not receive the great welcome also mentioned.
