Great little site. Very quiet, with only occasional noise from the road.
Flat grassy areas for pitching tents, and nice open space at the bottom for dog walks.
Facilities were fine - 2 really good spacious showers and 2 toilets - it could have been quite busy if there had been more people but was OK for us.
Worth knowing that there are tame rabbits ranging around the site, which could be a challenge with some dogs!

Great little site, my over half and daughters spent 3 nights here. Clean and friendly.
Was advised where to find a fob for the electric gate on arrival, 2 toilets and 2 showers, occasionally had to wait for them to be available but wasn’t a problem.
We’re still very new to the camping world, everyone was friendly and helpful, it took longer than expected to pack up but the owners said it was fine and not to worry.
Great location for getting out and about. The kids loved the tree swing which was just out of the way, that they could chill out and be kids without us being on their back but close enough we can get them.
Also a big playing field for them to enjoy ball games and us not worrying they will hit over campers.
We were annoyed one night that a family decided to play in the camping field and their ball hit our tent despite an empty field right next to them.
Over all great place and hope to be back

Emailed an enquiry and Adrian the owner called me back within a few hours. Booking was very straight forward.
Upon arrival there was no one available to show us where to pitch but a quick phone call to Adrian and we were told to choose where to go.
The pitches are well spaced, the grass in nice, flat and well drained. There are four hardstanding pitches but these were all occupied. The facilities are spotless, there is just one toilet and one shower but they are both very spacious and the shower is free, powerful and there was plenty of hot water. There were 10 other units on the site and we never had to wait for a shower. There is also a room with a washer, fridge etc but we didn't use these. There is plenty of space for children to play, a lovely meadow field for walking the dogs.
Skipsea has a shop that sells just about everything and there’s also a pub within a five minute walk that does lovely meals.
Although this site is on a busy road there is no road noise at night, our break away as been very restful and relaxing. This is a lovely site for both families and couples and it was great value for money.
The nearest beach access we could find that didn’t involve a scramble down a muddy bank was at Fraisthorpe, it cost us £3 to park the car all day and the beach is lovely and clean, we walked for miles with the dogs exploring the pill boxes and sea defences from long ago.
There are toilets and a lovely cafe/bistro( best scones I’ve tasted in a long time). Mappleton sands is also a nice beach with facilities but is further to drive. Bempton Cliffs is a great place for bird spotting and activities for kids. There is lots to do in the surrounding area. We just spent most of our week enjoying the dry weather and walking.

This site is lovely and open. There are four hard standing pitches, with electric hookup and water. There are grass pitches that are suitable for tents and caravan as alike. The site is clean and the perfect place to relax. The owner, Adrian, is really nice, very helpful.
We have two children, one six and one under two years. Both were able to play in the open site without hassle or bother.
There is a fenced off duck pond, as well as hens and goats in a pen, which makes for interesting focal points through the site. There are also rabbits, with a large run and they are a lovely addition to a small holding.
Castle view is nice, pleasant and the perfect place to relax and let kids be kids. Adventures may be small, but they are prefect for little ones. There is also a large grassed area behind the site which is also part of the land. There is a picnic table which has the best view of castle hill. The hill is a tourist spot, albeit a quiet one. Which is brilliant as you’re not mobbed and get to explore loads.
There local shop is well stocked and the staff are lovely. The nearest “big” town is Hornsea and there is a Tesco there as well as some other shops if you’re after something specific.

Well what can I say about this great site. It's great lovely and tidy. Loads of room to move around ( no Lager louts). I booked a few weeks earlier as could not get booked anywhere due to bank holiday and the owenr said yes no problem.
When I arrived he put my van on to the pitch and showed me where all items were ie shower, toilet and waste etc. There is a a washer and dryer in a room where there is also a fridge to store cold stuff in ( if you run out of room ). The shop is only a few mins walk down the road.
But I will defo be back at this great site.
