 We love this site, we visit it twice a year. It is very rural and ideal for walking, mountain hiking and visiting the Spanish interior.
The facilities on site are very well maintained. The owner Juan and his staff are very helpful, friendly and accommodating. If you are interested, horse riding can be arranged from the site.
The site is situated in the heart of the Sierra Maria Natural Park. The area is steeped in history.
There are many things of interest nearby, a Botanical garden that is well worth a visit, local "Jamoneras" and the small town of Maria, where there are good butchers and a supermarket.
We visit the site using our ACSI card and is therefore very good value for money.
The site floor can be a bit dusty, but then it is central southern Spain.

Good, clean ablutions/showers. Good price with ACSI.
Tricky access to pitches with double axle van due to lack of turning room. Would be easier with movers. Our pitch over 20 metres long so preferred not to disconnect & use movers for one night stop. Ground is sandy & carries into van easily.
Bar &cafe looked good but didn't use. Would use as a stop over again. 6 amp electric, no water connection but threaded taps throughout site.
Was -2 overnight and roads were frosted over when we left next morning. Be careful in winter.
