 2 adults 2 chikdren and 1dog. This campsite had a good view of the hills and great access to the coastal path walk but to walk to the beach is probably about a 8-10min walk.
I liked this site for its laid back vibe. I didn't feel that I had to keep the dog on a tight leash.
The gentleman that keeps the site in check was lovely and chilled and seemed to enjoy his job, it would have been even more welcoming if the lady was too!

We stayed in number 127, and this has got to be the best caravan we have ever stayed in, we had proper settees, and easychair, a fully fitted kitchen, and it was spotless.
The decking outside was fully enclosed so the dog could sit there without being tied up. I would have liked a nice view from the van say the sea or fields, but that's just my choice.
This site is so convenient, as 3 mins away you have 3 takeaways, 2 bars, and a supermarket, and gift shop, and a further 2 mins brings you to a great dog friendly beach that stretches for miles.
If you could guarantee the weather this can't be beaten, as we have never stayed anywhere before where we could walk to all these amenities.

I have stayed at Sarnfaen Holiday Park for the past 4 years with my family and relations in 2 and sometimes 3 caravans.
This year was by far the best, Ok the price has gone up. But the caravans were lovely. I was in 128, 127 and 126 were also hired by us. The standard of the caravans was excellent. Clean and spacious. (128 had a few dung fly problems but nothing that couldn’t be handled)
The pool has been looked after, the Jacuzzi is lovely.
The shingle/sand beach is just down the road (past 2 other yucky caravan sites and a crap arcade)
The only downside is the lane that leads to it is ridiculously narrow. Oh and don’t bother with the Ysgethin Arms pub, the food has rocketed in price and the quality is worse. But I can recommend the pizzas from Tony's Yummy!
Finally the sunsets on that beach are well worth waiting for. I recommend not only the caravan park but the beach as well, especially at sundown.
