The electric hook in the field was not available due to the recent wet weather, however we were accommodated underneath an open topped barn which was perfect.
The showering facilities were a little below standard especially the female facilities. Cobwebs and slugs so not very appealing to use.
Would definitely recommend if visiting the crazy bear restaurant or surrounding areas.

Excellent site. Large open field plenty of space to run around in.
Portacabin type toilet and shower facilities clean and well maintained.
Peaceful and quiet plenty of wildlife including numerous birds.
Easy access to Oxford. Bus stop at entrance to site buses every hour to central Oxford.
Would highly recommend perfect and competitively priced.

A very quiet site ideally situated to catch a bus into Oxford from the end of the driveway.
Toilet and shower fit for purpose.
I would stay again if visiting the area.

Really peaceful, rural campsite yet with a direct hourly bus into Oxford at the end of the drive, and rural Oxfordshire on the doorstep.
Lovely clean shower and loo on site.

The location of the site is not easy to find and the small brown camping sign on the main road is only visible from one direction which we only found because we went too far down the road and had to make a you turn and seen it visible coming from the opposite direction.
The narrow track leading to the campsite is a daunting experience to say the least as some of the pot holes are deep and unavoidable which shook the caravan to the extreme whereby some of the caravan cupboard doors had flung open spilling all the contents on the caravan floor which we have never experienced before at any other campsite entrance.
The water tap at the top left corner of the field is far too high at over 4 feet high so you need a very long tube to reach the water barrel plus the base at the bottom of the water tap is also directly over a sunken tree stump so the water barrel wouldn't sit flat either.
I had to use the caravan step directly under the tap to gain the extra height required and be able to sit the water barrel flat.
The field is kept nice but the grass cuttings unfortunately are not collected after mowing so after 2 days of rain the interior caravan floor was covered in wet soggy grass and bit of a mess.
However, the location is peaceful with no traffic noise and the views across the adjacent fields are lovely but at £18 per night with electric hook up is somewhat over-priced compared to other 'Camping & Caravanning' Certificated Sites we've stayed at this year for £10 and £12 per night respectively.
Although we had booked and paid for 5 nights we only stayed for 3 which unfortunately we won't be staying at this C&CC certificated site again in the future, not until the long pot holed drive has been sorted and made a bit more respectable and vehicle friendly anyway.

This is a perfect campsite for us when we visit our daughter in Oxford, excellent location, lovely views, well spaced pitches and not too many of them.
Excellent facilities. Always a pleasure to stay here.
Only thing to watch is drive slowly down the tree lined lane there are quite a few potholes so it can be a bit bumpy, other than that perfect!

A beautiful relaxing and laid back-site. Good clean facilities, even had
An honesty trailer filled with local products and matches ECT.
We did not use it but there is a bus stop at the entrance to the site which would take you in to oxford City centre.
Would highly recommend this site.

Great site, loads of space. Lovely friendly owners. Dog walking just off site.
Just be aware there is about 1/4 mile narrow tree lined drive from road to site which could be a challenge for wider Motorhomes.
