 Very nice site staff very helpful.
Nice young man in reception spoke very good English. Laughed when I tried my Spanish.
Direct access to the beach.
Restaurant’s and bars close by. Big supermarket a short bike ride away.
Lots of showers and wc. Always spotless.
Would recommend.

Family owned site right on the promenade, approx 1 mile out from the town centre. The site is fenced and secure, the entrance is away from the prom but there is a keypad gate out onto the promenade.
Pitches are large, gravel / sand surface which is well drained. All pitches have ehu. The showers and loos are kept very clean, showers have are piping hot and a really powerful water pressure. There is a laundry on site and a bar / cafe (the latter not open in winter).
There is wifi on site, we didn't use but charged daily. The whole site is really well kept and tidy, staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English.
From the front pitches you have a view over the beach, on windy days there are plenty of surfers to watch.
There were 30+ vans on site when we stayed, a mix of nationalities - some heading South others appeared to be over-wintering on the site.
The town is busy and lively even in winter, a good market along the front on a Monday. Plenty of shops to keep you busy for a day, also a botanical gardens and some beautiful old churches.
We paid €17 for 2 adults per night, would not hesitate to recommend the site for those travelling down the coast or for a longer stay.
