 I stayed in a small rental caravan which was functional but not particularly clean or well-equipped (eg no plates, plenty of saucepans but no working hob).
The facilities were generally quite basic and not the cleanest. But the site itself was pleasant, with a nice natural walking area.
The owner was welcoming and helpful, but I didn't find the place particularly friendly (a lot or regulars who seemed to prefer each others company to strangers)

A return visit to Rosebay, which is under new ownership and lots of changes have been made since my previous visit.
The site owner, John, is a friendly & helpful 'host' and the facilities are kept clean and the grounds well maintained.
The place feels very much like a community of likeminded people, with themed weekends and social gatherings on a Friday evening and in the marquee.
Looking forward to my return visit.

Excellent staff on arrival made welcome
Suited me near toilets for disabled access,
Site well kept,
But overall, lovely people and helped me with my motorhome,

Fantastic first time experience for us. Met several lovely people from all over the country. Very friendly environment and had a strong sense of community.
People on site are helpful. The humour and laughter was great, best time we had in ages. Felt very free and liberating.
A fun 5 day visit.
Already booked another weekend in before end of season. Recommended very highly.

My second visit to Rosebay and I wasn’t disappointed (despite the weather not being as sunny as I’d have liked). The weekend was very busy for an organised event but quietened down at the start of the week.
Still had a that community feel, with friendly fellow campers and ideal for those holidaying alone.
Yes I’ll be back again ASAP

Good facilities - showers are powerful and nice and hot.

A great site and ideal to meet like minded gay/bi naturists.
The place is clean and tidy and has a lovely rural setting.
The other campers were very friendly and welcoming, a nice community feel with a great relaxed atmosphere.
I will be returning ASAP.

Great fun. Relaxed site with a community vibe. Not the most salubrious but has the essentials. Totally unique.
Owner an acquired taste but genuinely nice once you accept his foibles.

Lovely quiet location, it's well maintained and very peaceful.
The weather wasn't great so I just chilled and read a couple of books.
Fellow campers very friendly and I enjoyed my stay.

I had heard about Rosebay through friends who have visited in the past, so decided to give it a go.
Friendly site and other campers, this is a niche site for gay/bi men with an interest is naturism.
Most facilities were rightly closed due to Covid. As I have a self contained motorhome this wasn’t an issue.
Will definitely return later in the year.
