WE chose this site as very close to friends living in Crawley area and for catching the Euro Tunnel after our stay.
The couple running the site were extremely friendly and helpful especially with the my caravan problem.
The toilet / shower etc facilities are kept in pristine condition.
Was a little concerned of noise as next to Gatwick runway but this was not a problem after watching a few planes take-off you concentrate on other things and they do not fly all night.
Would definitely stay there again.

We had to move from another site last minute and Gatwick was the closest so we booked in over the Bank Holiday.
The staff were very accommodating for a caravan and two tents.
I notice the listing doesn't include tents but there is a small field for 8 pitches I think it is, however there is no electric hookup available for tents.
As you'll see from the map it is on the boundary of the airport so you will see and hear planes, but it wasn't a major issue for us due to the reduced fights (pandemic).
The facilities were well maintained and good showers etc. There is an enclosed dog walking field which was great for our spaniel. The site does have a little walk from the site, but generally you need to drive if you want any activities etc.
We visited Tilgate Park which we can highly recommend and Nymans National Trust.
As a camper it was a nice site, but would benefit from electric. We were just greatful they could accommodate us and I think for caravans it's a nice site.

I cannot fault this place at all! Lovely staff who advised us on how the site is covid secure, including a wristband system for the toilets (which were extremely clean).
They even told us about a nearby chinese takeaway that deliver to the site ! Really secure site & we felt safe the entire time, had loads of fun having a night away with friends, thank you :)
- For some other may be an issue that there are planes overhead however this didn’t annoy us at all and wasn’t disruptive even when we were sleeping despite the occasional noise :)

If you don't like planes or are plane noise intolerant, don't stay here, the clue's in the name, Gatwick !
However, I had a really great stay here, the site is actually on the side of one of the runways, the plane noise didn't bother me one bit and I found it really exciting to look up and see the planes taking off, so close to the ground that the livery could be clearly seen.
The wardens were friendly and welcoming and the facilities great as is usual on a club site and very clean.
It is just 4. 4 miles and a 12 minute drive from the Hawth Theatre, which has free parking and all the usual supermarkets and outlets are all just minutes drive away including County Mall Shopping Centre.
This was a perfect location for my stay in Crawley and I'd be back like a shot should I be visiting Crawley again.

Stayed for a couple of weeks in Jan whilst looking around the area. As it was snowing most of the time didn't get out as much as I'd liked, however just a 2 min walk or 50 yards away is a nice little pub, great food.
The site has excellent security, swipe card in/out & barrier. Toilets were warm & clean. Good spacing between pitches. TV reception was good, no problems & despite being close to the runway the noise wasn't too bad.
Wardens were very helpful, Would I go back - yes

This is a lovely, secure site with friendly wardens. There is a good pub which serves nice food just 2 mins walk outside the site. They have 2 German Shepard dogs, both are friendly.
There are planes taking off all day, every day, but only noticed 3 or 4 very large jets a day that rattled the van. There is storage facilities on site, and seasonal pitches too.
The toilets are clean and presentable. Well stocked shop. There is a Tesco 2-3 miles outside the site. Would like to stay again. Book early, as this site tends to be busy in the spring / summer months.

Stopped at this site on our way to the south coast. Although its right next to the runway at Gatwick, the planes were not a problem. In fact the kids were occupied just watching them take off!
Lovely pub just at the site entrance, called Flight Tavern. Great food and easy walk from the site.
This caravan club site is well maintained and friendly. Will definitely stay again

Just had a lovely long weekend at this fantastic site. Great facilities normal cc standand all though. Washing up area is on the small side.
The wardens are very friendly and welcoming. Lots of rabbits running around. Planes in the sky which if they are taking off over the site you do hear them but if they are coming in to land over the site you hardly notice them.
Great pub at the site entrance that does lovely food and lots of choice.
Would highly recommend this site and will be returning very soon

A small great site with friendly wardens and spotless facilities, there is also a great pub right next door which did awesome food. The site does sit at the bottom of the runway at Gatwick and yes the noise of the planes can be intrusive but you do get used to it.
My sat nav did seem to take me all around the houses to get there but it was easy to find.
This was a good site for a quick stop over for us, but don’t think we could stay there for a longer period due to the noise.

We stayed at this site at the end of may. We had made a long weekend of it, as we were attending a wedding. I have to say it was an absolute delight to stay on this site. The site was very well maintained.
The toilet block and showers were kept spotless. And the showers were hot. The managers and the assistant managers alike were superb. Nothing was too much trouble for them. What ever information you required they were there to give it.
But what really impressed us was the relaxed attitude on the day of departure. There was no clock watching by them. Or us being kept told we had to be off the site by a certain time which has happened on other camp sites we have stayed at and its really daunting trying to hurry and take everything down and pack things away. So we found this relaxed attitude superb. When I told the managers they were really pleased with my response.
We had already booked to go again on this site in the middle of september and I am really looking forward to it.
