 Entrance to the site it via a small harbour which is overlooked by a holiday village after passing through the small village of Kortgene.
We were immediately made to feel welcome, and had been allocated a pitch that was a only a few feet from the Veerse Meer, which would have been pretty idyllic, but as we had a small child, we requested something slightly more inland and were easily accommodated. As we've come to expect from Ardoer sites, the toilet blocks are spotless and modern, with a fantastic playground. Due to illness, I didn't use the small indoor pool with retractable roof, however most kids seemed to be in the indoor water play area or on the beach area.
Evening entertainment was provided, however as we were the only British people on site, everything was in Dutch, which is fair enough. Most of our evenings were spent wasting the hours away watching the boats & jet-skis going past.
Zeeland is a great place to take your bike and get lost for a couple of hours, although the site in itself is about a 10-minute drive away from any meaningful shops to pick up supplies.
We only spent 4 days here, however I wish we could have stayed an awful lot longer.
