 If you are looking for a campsite that's just a bit quirky and different from the many large commercial sites in Spain this is surely it.
A former tenting site now has several static pitches and several touring pitches. Each pitch has electric and water and a good wifi is included in the price.
The site is very clean and tidy but has its own character and is beautifully maintained by the owner, Chimo, who is always willing to stop for a chat. He has the most fabulous Bola (round ball) house on the site - which you can rent if you wish.
By the touring pitches there are two toilets / showers and a washing machine, plus a chemical disposal. There is a small pool, and plenty of space to spread out with benches and tables around the site.
A Via Verde cycle / walkway goes from the site into the town at Villena, approx 8 km away where there are several supermarkets and all the facilities and shops of a medium sized town.
For us, a peaceful and beautiful place to get away from the madding crowds. Nothing we would change - its brilliant. €15 a night with electric, wifi and showers, good sized pitch, washing up area etc. Etc. - yet only us there, we would recommend it and will be visiting again.
