 Stayed here for just one night before taking the Cherbourg ferry.
Sunday night in the middle of May it was heaving and not very inviting at all and if we had not already paid before we were allowed to see pitches we might have moved on.

Small municipal campsite on the edge of the town, 5-10 minutes walk back into the harbour.
Good sized pitches with ehu, several water taps with grey water disposal. Pitches on grass but when we stayed they happily allocated pitches on the gravel between pitches as it had been a bit wet.
Showers and loos look recently refurbished, very clean. Showers on push button hot and decent pressure. Loos have loo roll and seats. There is a washer and dryer (didn't use so don't know price) also a room for washing up and hand laundry, plenty of hot water.
From the site you can walk back into Barfleur which has several good cafes and restaurants. Very few shops, the nearest for food is a Carrefour Express on the further edge of town - not that much choice. A very good and large Super Intermarche 12 km down the road.
Staff at site were very friendly and helpful, spoke good English and were keen to make sure we had a good stay. We found the site perfect for exploring the Manche, the Western side is full of small stone villages and not too touristy.
From the site to Cherbourg harbour is a really easy run along the coast, we met no real traffic - much easier than the main road up through the town.
Lovely little site, we paid €18 per night with electric and showers, they also offer the motorhome overnight rate of €13 between 6pm and 10am.
