What a lovely site. Clean. No electric but we managed for a week. We were watching Hares running around the field. Within easy reach of the pubs and villages. Bus stop just outside site. Facilities are very clean but no shower.

Nothing more to add to the previous reviews. Lovely warm welcome by the owners, immaculate clean site, spotless toilet and sink for those who require it, picnic table on pitch, excellent price. We also visited the Shropshire Inn and sampled the lunchtime special menu, food was lovely and of reasonable price, weather hot and sunny so we were able to sit outside with our dog. We would not hesitate to stay at Weston Croft again.

On the way back home from a trip to Spain, we decided to have 3 stop-overs - the final one being at Haughton.
Maurice and Judy, the site owners, were most welcoming and the facilities at 'Weston Croft Camping' are first rate. We very much enjoyed our brief stop-over and highly recommend it.
We took their advice to have a great meal out for our final night away from home at the restaurant across the road - 'The Shropshire Inn'. An excellent recommendation - not cheap, but we thought good value for money for a very enjoyable meal.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in this locality. We will be back.

I wouldn't disagree with any of the preceding comments except to add that;
From today, Mo has widened the entrance to 14ft so there's no need for bitten fingers on driving in, and,
And probably more important.
This CL is NEITHER Caravan and Motorhome, OR Camping and Caravanning Club affiliated, (It's Exception Cert. Is issued by Motorhome Fun) therefore you don't need to be a member of the two big boys to visit.
PS. The Pitch Fee is still in single figures!

An immaculate 5 unit CL with hardstanding, fresh water, elsan point (no chemicals allowed), a WC/Washroom and even a tea shed. Situated in the countryside just a few miles outside Stafford with a bus stop within a few yards of the entrance to both Stafford and Telford and a 2 minute walk to a very nice pub/restaurant.
Haughton village has a well stocked shop within 10 mins walk of the site. The next village, Gnossall, is a very pleasant flat 5 klm walk in beautiful countryside, and has 2 good Chinese takeaways who will deliver to site.
There is access to a huge hedged field belonging to the site which is great for exercising your dog.
All in all a wonderful little site and Maurice and Judy are very welcoming owners.
Entrance is 10 feet wide so approach it straight on.
Had a wonderful long weekend here, would definitely return.

Had a fantastic weekend here.
An absolute gem of a site. Lovely setting with decent hardstanding.
It's a little 5 van site with a single Wc which is shared. It's immaculate all of the time. There is also a tea and coffee shed which we will take advantage of next time.
Also there are picnic benches for you to use which is a lovely touch.
The Shropshire arms Inn is a 2 minute walk with a fantastic menu and some nice drinks on offer.
A bus stop a couple of mins walk to get you into Stafford.
Maurice and Judith the owners are extremely welcoming.
We will definitely return.
Many thanks for a superb weekend.
