 A quiet location right at the back of the Isfield Community Enterprise field, accessed by a relatively narrow roadway to behind the Laughing Fish PH.
A grass site mainly in a slight slope (pitches 4 and 5 are the most level). Not enough to cause any difficulty for my camperbusses.
Water, drinking water and EHU available on or close to the pitch, grey water disposal at the top of the site (next to pitch 5).
The preserved Lavender Line terminus is next door. Ashdown Forest an easy drive, and walks along the footpaths and watermeadow by the River Ouse (navigation) are dog-friendly, lovely views and with interesting flora and fauna.
Villagers could not be more smiling and friendly, good farm shop with well-priced fresh dog meat, Pizza van on Thursdays, and a friendly villag-y pub.
Close enough to Newhaven to lay up here before or after a ferry journey.
Great site - own facilities or customers can use the pub. Recommended.
