I am sorry but I don't believe this site deserves a high review. It is very compact, units on top of each other, very little room.
It was a pity the hedges being so high hid any views and made it feel very claustrophobic.
The pubs nearby did not sell food as previously mentioned
Tried initially to email the owners, but never replied. We never saw the owners.

Small but perfect site -
Excellent shower and toilet facilities -
Lovely quiet site and great location for cycling and walking with pubs and cafes within walking and cycling distance.
Will definitely return.

A fabulous small friendly campsite, well looked after and very clean.
The toilet facilities are brilliant with overhead, warm and powerful showers. Huge sinks with soap and paper towels as well as lots of hooks. The owner very helpful with early arrival. Lots of hot water for washing up.
The local pub no longer functions as a proper pub however short walk to Hope and a friendly drinks only pub there.
Great walks and cycles from the site. Basic shops at Hartington and endless other walks and places to visit a short drive away.
Good cycle routes, especially with an electric bike, near by.
Some recycling facilities maybe add paper/card and a compost bin.

Some would say that the site is quite expensive at £30pn including ehu but for this you get a very secure site, behind electric gates.
Once inside you get a spacious pitch on a immaculately kept site.
There are about 16 pitches, so it never feels crowded.
There are 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms including toilet and shower, all are spotlessly clean and lovely and warm.
