Lovely little CS, but quite sloping, not good on wet grass.
Easy to miss the entrance as it looks more like a lay-by.
We were bombarded by acorns falling off the trees.
Handy picnic tables to sit outside and admire the view. We took a good 10 minutes to walk to the bus stop and the footpath is on the opposite side of a very busy road.
Trains were not running when we were there, buses were hourly to Barmouth or Harlech.
Facilities were very clean and tidy

Welcomed by a wonderful family who were so helpful and friendly.
Facilities were spotless.
Best family holiday We have had in years. The view of the coast is beautiful.
Can't wait to return.
The only bad point was having to leave.
Love the site and the the family who run it.

A lovely site located right on the edge of Tal Y Bont with beautiful sea views and lovely clean facilities.
The owners were able to get us booked in with a pitch suitable for our needs and sent an invoice out to us which we could pay before we arrived. Pitching up we had one night on pitch 14 before having to move down to pitch B.
This was a little frustrating as we had our set up rather good but we moved and actually felt we ended up with a better view.
The facilities were really clean and to a really good standard.
Only thing letting it down was all the cut grass left lying around but other than that a lovely site.
Will be back again!

A lovely well-kept campsite with plenty of space for our two kids to play with their newfound friends in. About 2-3 miles from the centre of Barmouth.
Showers and toilets are in an immaculately clean purpose-built annexe with plenty of space and a light and airy feel to them. My wife said they were the nicest she’d seen, and there was a gentleman cleaning them before most of the campers had even woken up.
Pitches are a good size, though most of them do slope gently which isn’t a problem with a caravan or camper. We were in a tent so a little more planning was required in layout.
There is a road nearby, but traffic noise was not intrusive and certainly didn’t stop any of us sleeping.
Will definitely visit again.

We were looking forward to visiting this site but sadly have to say it's one of the worst we have ever been to. Locality is good, bit close to the main road, but could cope with that for the spectacular views and sunsets.
It was hard work communicating via email and hardly got any instructions, ie arrival and departure times and no details of advertised dog exercise area even though it's £3 pn for a dog! The worst thing was the cleanliness, no toilet paper in gents for over 24hrs, no cleaning done at all for our first 2 nights, so I messaged the owner who then came to clean but even then the standard was not good, toilet not cleaned underneath seat!
The owners were not around and the pitches were not level, it was unclear where to pitch and on the last night we came back to a VW parked right next to us. Such a shame as the site has great potential to be wonderful if managed correctly. We won't be back!

First time we have been to this campsite and what can I say it was lovely.
We stopped in pitch D which was a short walk from the bathroom facilities and has the little brook going behind us (great way to keep drinks cool).
The bathroom facilities were lovely, cleaned throughout the day, always fully stocked. This was a great campsite with a lovely atmosphere with the other campers.
Already looking forward to booking again for next year

We couldn't speak highly enough of this campsite, and I'v been meaning to leave a review for ages!
We were only planning to spend one night but the owner was so lovely and accommodating and the site was so good we ended up staying 3 nights!
The site is in a beautiful location just up the road from Barmouth beach and with a beautiful sea view.
We walked to the Ysgethin Inn which has lovely quiet seating area and a friendly feel.
We also went to Nor Bar where the service and food were both brilliant and the view is pretty cool.
The facilities at Bryn Y Bwyd are so good, we really don't want to tell anyone so we can come back!
The shower block was brand new and a wonderful treat. Thank you for a brilliant stay and lovely memories we made. We will definitely be back in happier times and hope you stay safe through 2020.

This is a splendid site, clean modern shower and toilet block, owner is attentive but not in your face,
I needed a bit of rest bite and loved it there,
Made friends with Barney the horse and the pointer puppy’s,
I will be returning hopefully soon,
If you want sea views quiet and no bells and whistles this is the place for you.
