A very peaceful, small site in a good location. Easy access to Grantham by car, about 10 mins and on foot through the fields, about 40 mins.
The facilities, one shower and 3 toilets with wash basins are extremely well looked after.
The owner is very helpful and friendly.
The field is mown but it would be helpful if the clippings were gathered up to prevent grass from being left in toilets, vans etc.
Overall we would recommend this site.

The campsite was very pretty with lovely views.
The facilities were spotlessly clean and roomy.
It was very quiet with only a few other campers however if it had been full I don’t think the facilities would have met everyone’s needs.
Only one shower and 3 toilets with washbasins.
Lovely for a stopover on the way home. Only stopped one night due to weather.
Very friendly hosts.

We have stayed several times at Herigerbi and just love it. Only 30 minutes from home but a perfect place to get together with the family.
We stay with our grown up children and grandchildren in a caravan and two tents and are always pitched together, even in the height of summer.
The site is one large field surrounded by woods, so very safe for children and a great view and sunset over Grantham.
The pitches are set around the edge of the field so loads of room for ball games and general family fun.
The facilities are spotless and well equipped. The bell tents and pod look great and are sited in the woods.
We don't usually leave the site but there local walks and the site is very close to Grantham which is a lovely town to visit.

Really lovely little campsite which was perfect as a stopover.
Clean facilities and friendly owners.
Large enough pitches for van and awning/shade.
Very peaceful.

Such a beautiful location.
Surrounded by a wonderful variety of trees, plenty of space and an amazing view - especially at sunset.
The toilets and the shower were in individual cabins and were immaculate.
The area looked really interesting but we were so satisfied that we didn't leave the site at all!

Last year we stayed here and could not have been happier.
Immaculate and so friendly.
Sadly we tried twice to contact them via this site to book this April. We received no communication at all on both occasions. We hope nothing untoward has happened and will try again on our return from France.

This has been our 4th short visit since 2018, and the site has gone from strength to strength. It’s set in a wonderful location with panoramic views over Grantham, which are stunning.
Although it looks secluded on a map, its position near the Harrowby Road, makes it very easy to access both local town facilities, the train station for the super-fast link to London, and the A1.
Grantham has tea shops (Teaspoon and The Garden Yard are our favourites), and restaurants in abundance, (Prezzo and the Cinqo Lounge to mention but two).
There are also some very well regarded pubs in the area. Herigerbi really is a great base from which to access all of these, and more. If heritage is your thing, Belton House, Woolsthorpe Manor, and London'thorpe Woods offer three great trips out.
A bit further afield, but still a short drive away, is Belvoir castle, which is growing all its offerings and makes another fab day out.
As to the site itself, we love the atmosphere of relaxed and welcoming kindness, and the facilities are immaculate. Every sink has proper hot water.
Though I haven’t used the shower, I have heard good things about it, and again, when I looked in, it was sparkling clean. Dogs are welcome, as are children, and there is an atmosphere of acceptance and good humour that just pervades the campsite.
It’s such a pleasure to sit and listen to the birdsong and trees as they rustle in the wind, and on a sunny day, wear sunscreen, as this site is sunny and warm. Just perfect to top up your vitamin D levels!
Despite being something of an insomniac, I always sleep very well at Herigerbi, (even through one night when the harvest was being bought under spotlights, in to my surprise), and wake refreshed. I think it’s the fresh air, the space, and the thoughtfulness of the owners.
When we started staying here I had not long experienced a traumatic injury, and I was worried about the slope of the site. But the ground is even, and the barn toilet and kitchen have no lip, which makes is just that much easier to navigate, especially at night.
For those with little children, both toilets are reassuringly spacious so there’s no squeezing into a tiny cubicle to oversee little ones. The basins are also lovely and wide. There are some games, a football and the odd book in the kitchen, with loads of space to play, both on the field (where visibility is very good), and in the woods, (where younger children will require closer supervision).
Herigerbi has a lovely minimalism that has just the right amount of everything you need, without overwhelming you with “stuff”. There’s always washing up liquid, a cloth and soap, and cleaning agents are available but kept up high. Paper towels never run out, so there’s no grubbing about with a soggy old hand towel.
Thanks to all the thought that has gone into this campsite, and the goodwill it immediately generates in campers, people are always friendly, tolerant and good humoured. Even the dogs are well behaved!
So, after 4 stays, I feel confident to highly recommend this campsite, and wish anyone who reads this a lovely stay.
