We requested a hardstanding and were given grass with some mesh which stops vehicles sinking in.
However, grass was on the longer side and as per this time of year wet and muddy. We would have brought wellies with us if we had been advised on booking that there weren't any hardstanding's available.
Two hardstanding's adjacent to the owner's home and office which were occupied by friends and workmen. One heated wet room with a good electric shower and toilet adjacent which was a bit smelly.
A towel to dry hands but this was dirty and did not appear to be changed during our stay.
The other toilet was padlocked. We did not use the washing up facility as we would have had to walk across long wet grass.
A basic site which we had chosen for it's proximity to the NEC.
Ideal for campers with full facilities on board.

A good site, with a couple of observations:
It needs a sign at the entrance, I am surprised that nobody has mentioned this. Sat Nav takes you 200 yards too far along the narrow road where it is difficult to turn. In the absence of this, look out for the green wheelie bin with 242 on it, past the house and onto the site.
The owner drove in right behind us; he must have known where we were going; he made no effort to indicate the site.
The pitches are in a row, with trees to the south. We had to take our satellite dish across the track to get a signal.
It is probably better, coming from the west, to get on the M40, take J16, A34 north to Hockley Heath and turn left to School Road. Then you don't need to cross the traffic.
After all these rather negative comments, we liked the site and would use it again. Very handy for the motorways, a hum from them when outside but ok in the caravan. OK walks/nature reserves around, a mad Tesco a couple of miles up the A34, a garage nearer than that.

Really friendly owner, chatty on arrival and gave us information about the local area. A fabulous site - a really big field with 2 clean toilets and 1 shower plus washing up facilities.
We were there during the Commonwealth Games, so busier than usual, an extra shower and toilet would have been great, but I guess in the usual week that wouldn't be a problem.
There was also some play equipment for younger children, playhouse and small slide I think, but we didn't need these.
Canalside walk into the village where there's a friendly pub, deer in the field both evening and morning.
Perfect for what we needed and would highly recommend.

We found this to be an excellent site, the owner was friendly and informative,
The site was extremely well maintained and all the facilities were of a good standard.
In particular we found the abundance of wildlife and canalside walks very enjoyable.
We will most certainly return. Dave and Edwina.

What a lovely site. Chris the owner was really friendly and helpful.
Lovely canalside walks just across from campsite with 2 pubs a mile each way. Will definitely stay again.
There are no showers on site and at the time of writing you will need your own toilet due to covid 19, This is the only reason I have scored it 8 out of ten for facilities.

We felt at home from the moment we drove into Cheedon Farm. Chris and Daniel greeted us with Chocolate the puppy. This is by far the friendliest campsite we have stayed on.
The camping field is huge. There is a mown path all round so you can safely walk your dog.
The canal towpath is the other side of the road. Turn right out of the site and then watch for the gap in the hedge. Easy access. Only a few yards from site entrance. The walk is beautiful. Go right for the bakery or left for pub and shops in the village. Chris makes you feel very welcome but does not intrude on your holiday.
We thoroughly recommend this site. Perfect in so many ways.

We spent a lovely three weeks at Cheedon Farm in a very wet April. The hardstanding pitch was very wet when we arrived and did struggle to cope with the amount of rain that fell through the month. The site was lovely though and Chris was a marvellous host; we will definitely be back.
The area around is lovely with a great chippy in Hockley Heath, a lovely bakery up the road and a great pub just over a mile away.
