What an absolute delight this place is. Clean, tidy and well maintained.

The lakes (many and various) are also beautiful. Some good fishing to be had.

We had a thoroughly nice time there, only spoilt by our neighbouring couple. Their dog was allowed to wander free, bark at us and pee next to our water butt, worse still, but I won’t go there, as you can imagine I’m sure.

Jeff and Linda were marvellous hosts and I’m sure we’ll be back again soon.

Cracking site very friendly staff and very helpful.

We parked motorhome at side of lake and the fishing was just nuts even a non fishing person could have caught.

Adult only site and dog friendly

A nice adult only site with a number of small lakes with fishing its main attraction,

The pitches are gravel & reasonably priced with EHC and wifi included with 3 pitches serviced, also a series of glamping pods all over looking the oval lake.

There are 2 well kept toilet/shower rooms & a laundry room,

The wardens are pleasant and helpful and we did stop a extra couple of nights.

The unfortunate downside was the traffic noise mainly from the local road the other side of the hedge which all caravans border, it looks little used but come it does so I'd recommend ear plugs if you're not used to it, as I say it didn't stop us staying a couple of extra days

Fishing is good, shower and toilet facilities are great on the touring side but very basic for the seasonal pitch holders, only one shower, no heating and the door won’t shut.

The location is okay, however because of its proximity to the A52 there’s constant traffic noise and the local road that runs behind most of the pitches is deceptively busy too.

There’s a cafe and tackle shop but even in summer the cafe only has very limited hours. If you are thinking about a seasonal pitch, scrutinise your electricity bills very carefully indeed because although the price per unit is reasonable, you will be astonished at how much electricity your van is apparently “consuming”. The bill for one customer, in a tiny Sprite, worked out at £15 a day which even in these expensive times, is more than double what you’d pay for electricity AND gas in a semi detached house. Something’s amiss somewhere.

Good site if your hobby is fishing.

Hard standing pitch was very rough with big stoned hardcore. This was bad to walk on and could be felt through thick soled shoes. If you have a pet beware for their paws !

Toilet/wash basin/shower all in one unit. 2 available, both for unisex use. Kept clean. Hand sanitizer outside the toilet unit. Basic pot wash outside not under cover.

If not on a service pitch the water tap was at the top of the site. Elsan disposal point extremely smelly (Doubtful if it had a water trap)In our opinion set too high up for emptying. No wi fi.

No information available re basic needs eg. Dr's Dentist Hospital. No tourist information. Road noise during the day, quieter at night.

As stated a site geared round fishermen/women.

Very nice little fishing site with glamping pods, hard standing pitches and a separate grass field for tents and caravans/ Motorhome’s.

Just spent a weekend here amid fishermen and lakes although we do not fish it was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Had a fully serviced pitch of which there were 2 and several other hard standing pitches.

The toilet and shower block which were only 12 months old were very clean and modern with proper shower cubicles and toilet and sink included in each of the two units.

The site itself was kept very nice and the fishing lakes were lovely.

There was a dog walk and you were allowed to walk your dog around the lakes after 7 pm which was nice.

Bingham shops were a few mile down the road with the usual convenience stores and pubs etc. Very handy for Belvoir castle and grounds just a few miles away.

The owner was very pleasant and chatty.
