Wonderfully flat site, good facilities, wifi lots of space for other units. Good communication with the hosts but without being pestered.
Nice pub opposite site - Eight Bells - but also loads of other pubs serving good food around The Greyhound, The Bystander, The Vine, The Bear with Ragged Staff also another in Appleton.
Easy roads to Oxford, Aylesbury etc.
For twin axles use the other entrance service road alongside the site rather than through the main gate (tad tight for our liking!)

This is an excellent CL occupying a large level, well-mown field on a working farm. In July 2018 the site was dry and the ground hard, so it is difficult to say whether the same would be true in wet weather. TV and (free) wifi reception is excellent. There is a toilet and shower at the farmhouse which were fine, but not exclusive use.
The site directions say that the recommended access lane is narrow with speed bumps. This is certainly true and we had a couple of encounters of the White Van kind on our arrival! The alternative would be to go via Cumnor.
There is no road noise, making this generally a very peaceful site, though there were occasional low flying military aircraft. Some plane spotters may look on this as a bonus, and for the rest of us it was not very intrusive.
Altogether highly recommended for short stays while travelling north or south or longer stays to visit the area and Oxford city.
