We visited this site for 1 night and it is a honest review of our visit. On the previous reviews we have to say that we were disappointed, positive points were beautiful location, very rural and peaceful shower was really good and plenty of hot water although there was no loo roll or paper towels,

Negatives were if you are booking this site make sure that you pack your wellies, obviously our visit is still during some lockdown rules and we appreciate that the owner has not had a chance to look after the caravan site.

We took our little dog with us and for us to walk him I had to carry him to the main drive as the whole site was totally water logged and full of ruts and muddy puddles, total nightmare so I am sorry to leave such a negative review and realise that it is not what the owner would want to read but I really think that the site needs some TLC even at £15 per night which I know is reasonable we will not return.

Nothing to dislike. Just what we love about this way of life. Simple.

Excellent communication with jimmi. Very helpful.

Shower and toilet clean and hot.

The grandchildren visiting for one night enjoyed the pigs, the climbing tree and the trampoline.

Easy walk into Rossett. Co- op and buses. Pubs when allowed to open.

A well run low key campsite. We will be back.

This site was great and we will definitely be back. It's a no frills site with one toilet and shower so not the place to go if you want a shop or entertainment on site. We were the only unit camping here for the night but it's a small site so I can't imagine this would be a problem. The site is surrounded by fields and trees and was so peaceful.

We only live half an hour away from this site and wanted somewhere nearby to try out new tent out for the night before going in holiday with it. What we found when we got there was the ideal place for us to get away for a totally relaxing time. We could have been a million miles away from home and we fully intend to use this site in future to have a couple of days away to recharge our batteries.

The only drawback for us was not being able to have an electric pitch for our tent but this wouldn't put us off staying again at all.

This is the perfect quiet weekend location pubs close, shops close. Nice views. 5 well space pitches all hooked up. Picnic tables around the site for use. Only a single toilet /shower room. But doesn't get busy. Proper little gem. Keep it quiet lol.
