My wife and I where met by the owner who offered us a cold beer 👍
He could speak good English and was very helpful.
The amenities where spotless every day with good hot water.
The site itself has grassed bays surrounded by small hedges which gives you good privacy and is very quiet.
Situated next to the meuse river which has 130km of cycle paths which my wife an I used in each direction catching the train back.
Would highly recommend this site to any traveller looking for peace an quiet and or a easy cycle ride.

States riverside pitches but no access and no view. The towpath is on the other side of the river via a road bridge a few hundred metres away and is bumpy and unpleasant for cycling.
The very nice warden who does indeed speak very good English lives on site with wife and 5 children.
We were given a pitch (66) near the office and spent two days listening to them speaking on phones, entertaining friends and dining on the nearby tables with the 5 kids using the nearby trampoline.
Had our stay been longer we would have moved pitches. Useless if you wanted a modicum of peace and silence and the opposite side of the site backs on to a sports ground.
The town itself is run down and unattractive. It didn’t suit us at all and for a municipal site was quite expensive at some €22 per night.
There are far better campsites next to La Meuse river nearby especially the municipal at Haybes which was superb in every respect and cheaper.

Very warm welcome. Few water points, do seek them out.
Also, need to be careful when emptying the WC cassette as it is inside the toilet corridor, it is easy to spill and foul the floor.

Stayed here for nearly 2 weeks as part of our annual visit to France. The site is near the Belgian border. It is a pleasant site, pitches are separated by hedgerows and trees. The location is right next to the River Meuse, which runs through Revin. The site is well equipped, with a laundry, washing up facilities and plenty of hot water in the showers. Although some may feel the showers are a bit 'dated' (the old 'push button' system) they are immaculately clean. The cost per night was approximately 15euros. The area - the Ardennes - is great for walking - forest walks and river walks were the main focus for us - especially with our dog. The town of Revin is literally a 5 - 10 minute walk away - and there are 3 supermarkets for all your needs. Maybe the location might not be for some - but I would say if you're in doubt, go and take a look, you won't be disappointed.
