 Well maintained site in Zeeland, and popular with Dutch and German families. The town of Oostkapelle is within easy walking distance and there are lots of nice restaurants there – especially if you like seafood. Also a good supermarket. The extensive sandy beach is about 2 miles away; you can cycle there or there is ample parking. There is also a good bus service within easy walking distance from the site.
There is a new pool and spa complex (very good and a lovely way to relax if you have been cycling for the day). There is also a mini restaurant; they only sell snacks as they have decided that with so many restaurants nearby they would not be competitive.
Pitches are large and well maintained, although access to some of them is tight through narrow roads and tight turns – we just about managed with our 7m single axle caravan. Worth talking to the site if you have a large outfit; I saw them use a tractor to extract one large twin axle caravan so it need not be a problem.
Facilities are clean and adequate although some of the toilets are unheated so I imagine would be a bit chilly out of season. We had to be careful not to trip the electric supply; when I went to reception to query it I found that it had been incorrectly set. It can be reset to a higher value by reception.
Nice area for cycling; cycle routes are flat and generally well signposted. You can get a cycling map from reception

Lovely campsite. Beautifully kept. Facilities very clean. We had a private bathroom, which was great, with a good shower and heaters. Plots are divided by hedges. Staff are very friendly and helpful, all spoke English. There is a restaurant on site. A very good play area is provided for the children.
The site is located on the edge of a town, with restaurants, shops and a supermarket. The wonderful beach is only a few minutes away by bike.
During our stay, we were the only British people on site. This area of The Netherlands is just waiting to be discovered by the British. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back.
