Would not visit camping Petrushhove Netherlands again lady in reception not friendly quite rude,
They advertise if pitch is unsuitable they will change it with negotiation not true very unhelpful.
Washing facilities cold water one tap for everyone to share, showers not heated.
Pitches on motorhome stands were all mud not allowed to lay anything down to compensate would not recommend this site one of worst in Netherlands

This site is a family run site found just off the motorway, between Venlo and Roermond. Access is well signed. Do not be concerned when turning off the main road as you appear to be heading into a wooded track but this soon widens out and the site is quickly reached on the left. The owners ran a farm from here and live on the premises. The ACSI rate gives you 6 amps but you can pay a slightly higher fee for 10 amp and these pitches are bigger and have a small hedge between each other, usually in groups of 3 with the same opposite you. Whilst there is a lot of woodland around the site itself is open with mature hedges around some of the perimeter. It is mostly grass but they do have an area for M/Homes if you need it. One thing that must be mentioned is that it is DOG FREE. It is however very child friendly with a large play area and an area set aside for watching or feeding the pet goats. The shower block is excellent and there is an indoor bike storage shed that provides free e-bike charging. There is also 3 apartments for hire. Cars, as with quite a few Dutch sites, must be left in the carpark so make sure you have everything you need when pitching. Carts are provided for helping you get groceries or other stuff from your car to your caravan. Supermarkets can be found within a few miles and there is a train station nearby if you wish to travel to Maastricht.
The female owner speaks a bit of English. Maps for walking and cycling can be purchased at reception along with milk and bread, The cycling network is extensive and really well signed. The German border is within walking distance with the Brachter Wald less than 1 mile away. There are old gravel pits nearby and these along with the Brachter Wald make for some good nature watching.
A very good stopping over point with some good nature parks nearby and, as usual with the Netherlands, excellent cycling opportunities.
