Excellent campsite situated a 25 minute (steep) walk above the picturesque fishing port of Cudillero. We used taxis which cost us 6 euros each way.
The pitches were large and well laid out in shade or sun. The staff were friendly.
Facilities on the site were excellent kept meticulously clean and the water for washing and showering hot. Wifi was good though only available in the café which like the shop had limited items.
ACSI Campingcard discount available.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Picked this site as it is a bit nearer Cudillero centre than the ACSI listed site above the town. It is possible to walk down on pavement (a bit narrow near the top) into town in 20-30 minutes, though it’s all uphill on return.
The site facilities seem good, and touring pitches area grassed with a gentle slope in places. There is a bar/cafe which was open in May, though few customers evident when we stayed for two nights. The pool was still closed in May, as with many Spanish sites. As it was very wet, campers seemed to be moving on often after one night. Our second night had torrential rain and the site was becoming flooded by morning so we left to move west; this is not a criticism of the site: this is the Green Coast after all, and the weather was unusually damp and cloudy in the spring of 2018.
The main road narrows as it descends into the town, and is definitely not suitable for large units or caravans. Cars or campers can approach the town from the west via the CU-3 and park near the harbour.
It may have been the overcast conditions, but Cudillero struck me as somewhat depressingly run down, though there are small shops and plenty of fish restaurants. I expect it looks a lot better in sunshine! There is a good beach a few miles east, Playa de Aguilar, with a large car park.
Cudillero is worth visiting for the seafood, but I wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time there.
