This is an immaculate, well kept site. The owners are friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and are always on hand to advise about the best places to eat, dog walking, car parking etc.
There is only one combined toilet and shower room but this was kept very clean and we didn’t have to queue to use it.
Danes Dyke is across the road from the site which is wonderful for walking dogs. You can also walk the coastal path to South Landing from here.
Flamborough village is a short walk away where you can find numerous places to eat and drink and a visit to Flamborough Head is a must if you are interested in bird/seal watching.
Whitby Abbey was just over an hour’s drive away and we thought the drive was worth it. We also visited Scarborough castle which was very enjoyable.
We would definitely visit this site again

Spent four nights at this lovely site but unfortunately the weather spoilt it. The site is in a great location, not far from the coast and Danes Dyke.
The owners are very friendly & John was very knowledgeable about local walks for our little dog. There isn’t a dog walk on site but there is a great walk just over the road where there is an abundance of wildlife. We walked to Sewerby and Bridlington on the one day we had decent weather but drove to Flamborough and Bempton Cliffs to see the birds on the crap days. We would have walked around Danes Dyke too, had the weather been better.
The site is very secure (you are given a key for the gate) and quite level with fully serviced pitches.
The toilet and shower are exceptionally clean but as they are housed together you may have to wait to use them. As it’s a CL, there are only five pitches and they are a decent size.
Fees are £17 pn for the pitch including dog/awning/ehu & an extra £2 pn for the toilet/shower.
I’m sure we will visit again.
