We arrived at Plas Dolben at short notice intending to stay for a couple of nights and ended staying for nearly two weeks so as you can imagine, we enjoyed it!
Owners were very welcoming and helped by suggesting walks in the area and very interesting places to visit.
The area is so quiet with stunning views from all parts plus wonderful sunsets to enjoy. Nearby towns were easy to get to albeit along fairly narrow roads but not a problem.
The field slopes fairly steeply but with leveling blocks, it wasn't a problem although campers may want to camp on the more level space at the bottom of the field.
Facilities were excellent and the cost reasonable.
Would definitely recommend for those looking for a nice quiet stay in lovely countryside.

I really enjoyed my stay at this campsite/working farm. Its dog friendly which is fantastic, so could take my little companion along. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming campsite owner. The views are fabulous.
If you like walking / hiking there are plenty of walks you can go on and some challenging routes too, as not far from Moel Famau.
The facilities are great, spacious toilet and they even have toilet roll, soap & a mirror, a Spacious shower / room as well as the drinking water taps located next to the toilet / shower block. Great value for money, very reasonable prices.
There is a pub just down the road near the entrance to the campsite too.
It's not far to drive to supermarkets and small towns, approx 10 minute drive.
I would highly recommend a trip to this campsite, I will definitely be going again.

We met up with another family with youngest children so there was a few of us and we really enjoyed our stay, despite the thunderstorm we still made the most of it.
The area is lovely, unfortunately due to the weather we didn’t get down to the pub!
The lane up to the farm isn’t ideal it’s very narrow, luckily we didn’t meet another car! Soon forgotten once we were there.
Thank u!

Friendly welcome, nice amount of space allowed, Toilet and Shower facilities very clean, Bottles of Spring Water for use by all campers. Cost Reasonable.
Dislike/ improvements
Better Signage of walks around the farm, would be great
Noise from fellow campers on 1st night was not good, thanks to the owner for sorting out.
Nothing bad about the campsite but it was a shame to see campers who were leaving taking the bottles of water that were meant for the campers who were staying.
The only place to find a flat surface was at the bottom of the field.
We enjoyed our stay we went for peace and quiet and in the end we got it.
Thank you so much for accommodating us at short notice.
Will will be back again

It a great camping site
Very large fields
Kids enjoyed saying hello to the horses that comes to the gates to say hello
It nice to find somewhere to have a off ground fire for kids to roast there marshmallows
Clean toilet and shower room shower could do with a mop being left In room so can mop floor after getting put of shower so no ones slips
But we recommend this campsite to anyone as me and my partner and my children really enjoyed our week here

Lovely site well maintained, with two large level fields to choose from surrounded by trees if you want some shelter from the sun.
The view's are amazing and the sunset as on the photos. It is so peaceful but at the same time would be ideal for younger children to play games with its large spacious area's.
Nice country pub just down the lane with a lovely beer garden.
There are no facilities nor electric but there is a cold water tap so you need to be independent and have the right equipment, which we did and it was fine.
