 This is a lovely campsite, if fairly basic, in a beautiful part of France. We have visited here 3 times now, all in the peak summer holiday season and it has always been a relaxing experience. Good sized pitches with varying degrees of privacy and you can take your pick as it has never been very busy when we have been there. It often appears to be used as a stopover site but is certainly worth staying longer.
It is only a 5 minute walk into the historic town of Saint-Flour with its mix of shops, restaurants and bars.
In the surrounding area there are plenty of sites to see including many (extinct!) volcanoes, cheese farms etc.
Amenities on site are fairly basic but kept in good clean condition - no complaints!
Staff have always been friendly and helpful, they do not speak a lot of english and we speak little french but we all managed to get ourselves understood with good humour.
