The location of this site is absolutely stunning. You get views over this very rural part of the county and also the sounds of lambs in the field and the occasional passing horse.
The hardstandings are nice and flat. Each pitch has its own water and EHU and a hedge between units.
The site is mainly busy at weekends, and even with quite a few camping families there was absolute silence after 10pm.

This is a lovely little site still in its infancy !. There are 5 pitches for mhomes/ campervans/ caravans, with a dividing hedge between each one. The. Owners are in the process of creating gravel hardstandings on them but not all complete due to the dreaded coved restrictions. The pitches big enough for van/ awning/ big car with space left over and full serviced although the electricity supply is 6 amps which seems a bit odd for such a new site. We were positioned right next to the toilet block but over time this will be screened by a hedge.
There are also some rather posh pods with balconies -fully en suite-they look ideal for a couple or small family.
The tent field is separated from the others by a narrow gravel road but plenty of space for the tents that were there. Some electric here as well, but parts are very sloping so careful choice is needed.
The toilet block is spotless at all times. 2 toilets/2washbasins/2 showers on each side. 2 washing up sinks separated by a clear screen outside the block. Chemical toilet point in a small building at the side.
It is a rural site so no pavements if you go for a walk but public footpaths abound. The views are far reaching and I understand sunsets and rises are spectacular in good weather. Very exposed to the wind-some tenters had some broken pole issues. So quiet at night it was a very relaxing experience.
The entrance is a bit tight and not very well signposted. I would not try an 8 ft wide van up there. The roads are narrow with some passing places for the last mile to the site so you need to go carefully. Whitchurch and Nantwich are within 6 miles and both are well supplied with shops etc but don't try to get a coffee in Whitchurch after 3 pm on Saturday unless you like costa, as the little cafes all seem to shut early there.
There is a great Italian Restaurant called Etzios in Whitchurch but booking is essential.
We just wanted a short break in the country peace and quiet and this site is ideal for that. No designated play area but room to run about. We didn't use our television so can't comment on reception. O2 and Vodaphone signal fine and we used our huawei wifi connector for the inevitable works laptop.
