Beech Tree Lakes is a great camp site.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Pitch was gravel and grass with full services.
Toilets/showers lovely and clean.
Fishing lakes very well stocked.
Bar on site with very reasonably priced drinks and food.
About 15 minute drive to Yorkshire Wildlife park.
Will definitely return when in area.

We really enjoyed our two night stop over here, the grounds are pretty and very peaceful.
The site is clean and tidy, the toilets and showers are immaculate and even has a washing machine and tumble dryer (at a small
Cost). The staff are welcoming and friendly, can highly recommend staying here. We will definitely book again.

This is situated just off the A614, keep a sharp look out for the sign. We booked quite near the date and pleasingly weren't asked for a deposit.
The site seems to be mainly seasonal tourers/MHs with friendly enough owners.
There are 3 lakes and as we asked for a lake view we were over the far side, the main toilet block is a good walk but there is a wooden shower block/elson adjacent.
Cost was £28 a night inc electric and you get water and drain on your pitch with good free wifi, there is fishing in 2 of the lakes with the other being for the statics and seem to be some sizeable fish in them-access is via full size gates using a key fob with £20 deposit-there is a covered bar on fri/sat nights which was well attended-the grass is kept short and traffic noise is very muted.
So in balance are there any negatives ? a number of the seasonals have 47kg gas bottles out side, the roads are a bit patchy, there are quite a lot of geese on site which leave a lot of presents so watch where you tread and the refuge skip is the other end of the site-to be honest none of these caused us any concern and we enjoyed our stay.

This site is VERY clean and relaxing in a quiet area.
Ensure you request a pitch around the fishing lake else you are liable to be within a group of static caravans which is OK but less appealing.
Beware of the bad smell from the sewage works close by when the wind is in the wrong direction !

Very warm welcome
Spotless showers and toilet blocks
Big level pitches with waste water drain, fresh water and electric hook up.
We were lucky and had a pitch overlooking the fishing lake.

What a cracking site, very peaceful
Fished two day's out of our 5 day's stay due to the weather, unfortunately am not a rainy person, can't see the point in getting wet though ha ha. out of the two days fishing brilliant, two day's fish after fish you have to use there pellets, 3 bag's for £5 really excellent value and they work really well
The site owners are very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble
First time for us but but will almost certainly be booking again
