 This site is situated at Old Leamingtonians Rugby Club and is fine for a couple of nights as a stopover, and would also be ok as a base for exploring the local area. It's advertised as a CL, but has about 20 pitches, some behind trees and others on an open, I assume redundant, rugby field. If satellite tv is important, ask for a pitch between 10 and 20.
Access is fine, you will be coming from the A46 (not from Leamington as suggested), take the A452 towards Leamington and then left at the roundabout, look out for the blue plaques at the entrance. There are showers and loos if you need them, plus use of the clubhouse for a drink.
It's not the prettiest of sites, but does the job and we would use it again. £15 per night which is ok; you will be asked to pay in advance, by phone.
