This was a lovely spot with very helpful and welcoming staff. We loved the pub meal and the feel of a very local connected community.
There were several other campers, including campervans, VW vans and tents, but all was quiet from early evening.
The walks in the district were lovely and the ride along the Basingstoke was delightful. What a great place to stay at the end of a long day riding.
It was great having access to the toilet and sink after hours so we could ablute before bed and once we got up.
The sunny open field which felt safe and welcoming.

Stayed as part of a bikepacking trip around the King Alfred's Way.
Not too far from the route itself.
Quaint pub with a nice friendly collection of locals. Staff were super friendly. Food was great.
The site itself was clean and perfectly ideal for tent camping.
Toilet was clean. Drinking water was provided. Perfect.

Lovely place/staff, book or call beforehand.
Water available and loo open till pub closed. Lovely food, our way of saying thank you for staying.
Turning to car park tight if you have a long vehicle more then 6. 1 metres I'd say. Drive slow down country lane to get to pub because of on coming traffic.
