 Good hardstandings with EHU which we paid £11 / night + £4 for electric.
Approx 4 mile out of Dumfries.
Great friendly welcome from the owner.
No pubs within walking distance, however we went cycling in Mabie forest which was approx 3 mile away and had a decent lunch in hotel.
Would definitely use again if in area.

Just over a mile and a bit off the A75, perfectly placed as a stopover point.
We arrived to a lovely welcome from the owners and showed where to pitch and hook up. The two hardstandings are between the shepherds hut field and the owners house, plenty of room on gravel, good do with the weeds cutting and a clear up and would look more inviting.
Fresh drinking water on a hose next to pitches and a chem disposal at the far end of the drive, with its own water.
Be aware, this site doesn't have many of the facilities listed - there isn't a toilet, shower, wifi, laundry or washing up.
Although it lists not accepting dogs we rang ahead and they were fine as long as dog kept on a lead as they have several horses in the fields on the property.
A good stopover at £14 with electric, really friendly owners who are trying to build a new business.
