 Just a lovely peaceful place. Beautifully clean and well cared for. Next to the cricket ground on one side and open country the other.
A fab thriving pub the wheatsheaf is across the road ( meals and hospitality recommended) pub has open fires.
There’s a golf course behind the pub. To the left a shop at the cross roads and then Woore canal walks to explore, or visit Crewe, or left again and Dorothy Clive gardens perhaps keep going to the swan with two necks pub and put the sat nav on for Trentham gardens, off the site and to the right Madely village, then Keele and a bit further Newcastle-under-Lyme (j15 m6) looping back round to Stone and Threntham.
Alton towers, Water world in Hanley are all with in reach.
There is a discrete larger site the other side of the sheep field with a right of way for walking. Take a torch as again in the dark it’s just stars and the moon for light.
It’s such a great camp site to have facilities on the door step but to sleep quietly under the stars.
