Lovely site in a great location. About 1 mile from ilkley where there are many pubs and restaurants. Bus stop outside it could even get a taxi.
You can also walk along the river to ilkley. To get to the river leave the site and look for the public footpath. It’s a 5 minute walk to the river.
As of January it was very muddy in places but still an enjoyable walk with boots on. It took maybe half an hour to get to ilkley. Once on ilkley we walked up ilkley Moor which was enjoyable.
The site has all hard standing level pitched with plenty of room. EHU and bins but no toilets. Dogs welcome, there is even a designated walking area.
For your van toilet you should use green fluid only.

A nicely spaced out and neatly presented 5 man site with excellent walking from site and good local places to visit such as a walk into Ilkley or Addingham or Bolton Abbey.
Also a drive to Skipton or Saltaire or even further afield.
Has fresh water. Electric hookup, black waste disposal and good TV reception and very little road noise.

I’m a Yorkshire lass born & bred. I don’t have a whippet, I don’t wear a flat cap & until this last week I had never been to Ilkley. However having visited Hall Croft for a short break I can say I am very impressed and will most definitely put it on my list for a return visit.
The site was very easy to find & there was a code on the gate for security, which we were provided with prior to arrival - hand sanitiser was provided 👍. We were very impressed with the site, it was immaculate. All pitches were slate hard standing edged with a small wall at the rear. The site has no toilets or showers but we knew this beforehand and so were happy to use our onboard facilities.
We booked this site because of the location & were not disappointed, a five minute walk down a footpath takes you to the river. Turn right into Ilkley or left to Addingham & beyond.
There is slight road noise but this didn’t affect our enjoyment and we will be back.

We love this site as its close to Ilkley, you can walk on the path or down by the river,
It has easy access from the main road,
Hard standing level pitches,
Great views,
Please note only thing that would better this site would be a toilet and we would gladly pay more.

Had a really nice stay at this site,
the location is good, short walk into Ilkley by foot path or down by the river,
we can recommend the Dalesman pub for home cooked food and dog friendly,
the views from the site are lovely with sheep in the field in front of the site,
only hiccup was on uk campsites it says it has a toilet and it has not but caravan club states it has not. We loved the site and will return.
